Roof Repair & Replacement
Atlanta Roofing
Contractor.
Residential and commercial roof replacement, repair, storm damage and inspections across metro Atlanta, South Georgia, Augusta and South Carolina. We look at the actual roof before we quote it.
Who we are
Shingle Roofing and Metal Roofing From One Contractor.
Elevation is a roofing contractor working across metro Atlanta, South Georgia, Augusta and South Carolina. We handle roof repair, full roof replacement, storm damage, and inspections on shingle, metal and TPO roofs, for homeowners and for commercial buildings.
Most roofing problems are not visible from the driveway, and nobody can diagnose a roof from a photo on a phone. Somebody comes out, gets up there, and looks at the decking, the flashing and the valleys before a number is written down.

What we do
Our Roofing Services.
Everything below is work we do ourselves, on residential and commercial roofs.
Roof Replacement
A full tear-off and rebuild when a roof has reached the end of its life. Old material comes off, the decking gets checked, and the new system goes on properly rather than over the top of the old one.
Roof Repair
Leaks, missing or lifted shingles, damaged flashing and failing valleys. If a repair is genuinely the right answer, we will say so and put it in writing.
Storm Damage Roofing
Wind and hail damage after a storm, including the parts you cannot see from the ground. We inspect the whole roof and document what we find, so you know the actual extent of it.
Roof Inspections
A straight assessment of what condition the roof is in and roughly how much life is left in it. Useful before buying, after a storm, or when you are simply not sure.
Shingle Roofing
Architectural and three-tab asphalt shingle roofs, the most common system on homes across Georgia and Tennessee. Installed to the manufacturer's spec, including underlayment and ventilation.
Metal Roofing
Standing seam and metal panel roofing where a homeowner wants a longer-lasting system. We will walk you through how it compares with shingle on cost, lifespan and appearance.
TPO Roofing
Single-ply TPO membrane for flat and low-slope roofs, heat-welded at the seams so there are no fasteners through the surface. The usual answer on commercial buildings and on the flat sections of a house where shingle will not work.
Commercial Roof Replacement
Flat and low-slope commercial roofs replaced on the same terms as residential. We get up on the roof, document what condition it is actually in, and put the scope and the number in writing before anything comes off.
Repair or replace
Roof Repair or Roof Replacement?
This is the question almost every homeowner calls about, and the honest answer is that it depends on things you cannot see from the ground. These are the factors that actually decide it:
- Age of the roof. A roof near the end of its expected life rarely justifies another repair, because the next failure is usually not far behind.
- How far the damage has spread. One section of lifted shingles is a repair. Damage across several slopes usually is not.
- The decking underneath. If water has been getting in for a while, the boards under the shingles may be soft. That changes the answer completely.
- Flashing and valleys. A surprising number of "roof leaks" are actually flashing failures around a chimney or a valley, and those can often be fixed.
We will tell you which one your roof needs and why, in writing. If a repair buys you several more years, that is what we will recommend.

On your property
A Licensed and Insured Roofing Company.
Roofing is the trade where it matters most who is actually on your property. For most homeowners the worry is not the shingles. It is whether the work will be done correctly, and whether anyone will tell them what is happening while it is.
Elevation is licensed and insured, and safety is one of the standards the company was built on rather than something raised after a problem. You get a written scope before anything starts and the same point of contact from the first inspection through to the final walkthrough, so the cost and the sequence are not a surprise.
Common questions
Roof Repair and Replacement Questions.
The things homeowners ask us most often about their roofs.
What are the signs my roof needs attention?
Stains on a ceiling or in the attic, shingles that are cupping, curling or missing, granules collecting in the gutters, daylight visible through the roof boards, or a section that looks like it is sagging. Any one of those is worth an inspection before it becomes a bigger job.
Can you tell me whether I need a repair from a photo?
No, and we would not try. A photo shows the surface, and most of what decides repair against replacement is underneath it: the decking, the flashing and how far water has already traveled. That is what the inspection is for, and it is free.
Should I choose shingle or metal?
Asphalt shingle is the most common system on homes here and costs less up front. Metal costs more to install and lasts considerably longer. Which one makes sense depends on how long you plan to stay in the house and what the rest of the roofline looks like. We will go through both with you so you can choose.
What happens after a storm?
Get it looked at even if nothing is obviously wrong. Wind and hail damage frequently is not visible from the ground, and it does not announce itself until the next heavy rain. We inspect the whole roof and document what we find so you have a clear record of the damage.
Do you work on anything other than roofs?
Yes. Elevation also handles siding and gutters, bathroom remodeling and full residential construction. If a storm takes the roof and the siding, it stays with one company instead of being split between trades.
