Siding, Gutters, Painting & Coating
Atlanta Exterior
Remodeling
Contractor.
Siding, gutters, painting and coating across metro Atlanta, North Georgia and Chattanooga, South Georgia, Augusta and South Carolina. The outside of your house keeps the weather out and sets what everyone sees first. We handle both at once.
Who we are
A Siding and Gutter Contractor for the Whole Exterior.
Elevation is an exterior remodeling contractor working across metro Atlanta, North Georgia and Chattanooga, South Georgia, Augusta and South Carolina. We install and replace siding, install and replace gutters, paint and coat exteriors, and take on exterior repairs and full exterior remodels on residential homes.
Keeping the whole exterior with one contractor means the work gets sequenced in the right order, the siding, gutters and repairs are specified together, and the finished elevation matches from the roofline down.

What we do
Our Siding, Gutter, Painting and Coating Services.
Everything below is work we do ourselves, on residential homes.
Siding Installation
New siding on a home that needs it, installed with the weather barrier and trim details done properly underneath. The part nobody sees is the part that decides how long it lasts.
Siding Replacement
Pulling off siding that has warped, cracked, faded or started letting water behind it, checking what the damage did to the wall underneath, and putting back a system that seals.
Gutter Installation
Gutters and downspouts sized and pitched for the roof they are actually on, routing water away from the foundation instead of dumping it next to it.
Gutter Replacement
Replacing gutters that sag, separate at the seams, pull away from the house, or overflow every time it rains hard. Usually a smaller job than homeowners expect.
Exterior Repairs
Targeted repairs where the exterior has failed in one place. If a repair is the right answer for the wall, that is what we will quote.
Exterior Remodeling
Larger exterior projects where the goal is to change how the house looks and performs, not just patch it. Planned as one job so the materials and lines work together.
Exterior Painting
Washing, prep, priming and paint on siding, trim and soffits. Most of the work is what happens before the first coat, which is why a paint job done properly outlasts one that was only rolled on.
Exterior Coating
Protective coatings where paint alone is not the right answer. A coating goes on thicker than paint, bridges fine cracks, and is specified for the surface it is actually going onto.
Siding
When to Consider Siding Replacement.
Siding rarely fails all at once. It gives you warning signs for a year or two first, and most of them are easy to miss from the driveway. These are the ones worth acting on:
- Warping, buckling or cracking. Panels that no longer sit flat have usually taken on moisture or heat movement the system was not meant to handle.
- Soft spots underneath. If the wall gives when you press it, water has been getting behind the siding and the sheathing is the real problem.
- Paint that will not hold. Repainting every few years is often the siding failing rather than the paint.
- Climbing energy bills. Gaps behind failing siding let conditioned air out as readily as they let water in.
We look at the wall, not just the panels, and tell you in writing whether this is a repair or a replacement.

Exterior Walkaround
We walk the whole exterior, all four sides, and tell you what we actually find rather than quoting from the street.
Written Scope
Materials, sequence and cost in writing before anything starts, including what we expect to find once panels come off.
The Work
Siding, gutters and repairs sequenced in the right order so nothing finished has to be opened back up.
Final Walkthrough
We walk the finished exterior and the property with you before the job is called complete.
Gutters
Gutter Replacement, Sizing and Pitch.
Gutters are the cheapest part of the exterior and the one that causes the most expensive damage when they stop working. Water that is not carried away from the house goes somewhere, and that somewhere is usually the fascia line, the siding, or the ground against the foundation.
We install and replace gutters as part of the exterior scope, which matters when siding or roof edges are being worked on at the same time. Sizing, pitch and where the downspouts actually discharge are the parts that decide whether they work, and they are the parts most often got wrong.

Common questions
Siding and Gutter Questions.
The things homeowners ask us most often about the outside of the house.
How do I know when siding needs replacing rather than repairing?
It comes down to how far it has spread and what is behind it. Damage in one section, with a sound wall underneath, is a repair. Warping or cracking across several elevations, or soft sheathing behind the panels, usually is not. We check the wall itself before giving you an answer, because the panels alone do not tell you much.
Do gutters have to be replaced, or can they be repaired?
Plenty can be repaired. A section that has separated at a seam, pulled loose from the fascia line, or lost its pitch can often be put right without replacing the full run. Gutters that sag in multiple places, or that were undersized for the roof to begin with, are worth replacing instead of repeatedly fixing.
Can siding and gutters be done at the same time?
Yes, and it is usually the better way to do it. The two meet at the same edge of the house, so doing them together avoids taking down new gutters to get at the siding behind them. It also means one scope, one schedule and one crew rather than coordinating two companies around each other.
Can you do the roof and the exterior together?
Yes. Elevation handles roofing as well, which is the main reason to keep exterior work with one company. After a storm it is common for the roof, the gutters and a stretch of siding to all take damage, and splitting that across three contractors is where timelines and accountability fall apart.
What does the estimate involve?
Somebody comes out and walks the full exterior, not just the side you called about. You get a written scope covering materials, sequence and cost before anything is scheduled. It is free, there is no obligation, and the estimate is custom to your house rather than a square-foot figure over the phone.
